Cold. Clean. Tide. #DearSantaLoveDragyn #Giveaway

Disclaimer/Disclosure: I was given a bottle of Tide to review. Any and all opinions are my own.

I don't know if clean clothes are really a gift but sometimes a gift is something you really need. Enter our friends at Tide. They make laundry detergent (ok you already knew that). However did you know Tide is making new formulas that fit into your life and needs. How many of us try to use more cold water to lower energy costs, save the environment or even to save a few dollars in our pockets? I know I do. Tide knows that and come up with their coldwater formula. What makes coldwater different? It is created to work hard in the lower temps so you get a brilliant clean.

I have been trying Tide coldwater for over a month now. It was important to me to test it out as thoroughly as possible. Also my family helped. Here are our thoughts:

  1. Tide coldwater smells fantastic. It is a light scent that isn't over powering at all. It lingers on the clothes for days which helped them stay fresh. It wafts through the air but doesn't overwhelm your nose. Those with skin allergies (like me) will be glad to know it didn't irritate my skin. It was nice to know that I could enjoy fresh smelling clothes without having to worry about being itchy.
  2. Tide coldwater got the clothes really clean. It's probably the cleanest I've seen my clothes in a while. Between you and me I was already using cold water. I just used a different detergent. When I used this detergent I would often use 2 cap fulls to get my clothes as clean as I thought they could get. With Tide coldwater I was able to use the proper measurements and get an even better clean.
  3. Tide coldwater made our laundry very very soft. This is where me and my mom differ in opinion. I loved the fluffy softness of everything. My clothes feel like clouds! My mother however felt like it made clothes that aren't supposed to be soft, soft. For example my dad's uniforms are made of a coarse materiel. Even they were soft and fluffy. My mom argues you want your jeans to feel like jeans not cotton. I agree but really FLUFFY CLOUDS!
  4. Tide coldwater seems to last a fairly long time. I live in a house with 4 people and a LOT of laundry. Because we were able to use the proper amount for each load of laundry Tide has been lasting us a long time. I still have half a bottle left.
All in all I can highly recommend Tide coldwater. It is great because it lasts a while, gets you clothes clean and soft in cold water, and it smells great.
Now 3 of you will win a bottle so you can try it yourself. Rules in the rafflecopter. Luck!

  7. I do about 8 loads a week for the four of us and only ever use cold water. Using hot water runs my electric up too high.

  8. It feels like all day everyday, in reality if I focus and don't have outside the house plans I usually only have a day for laundry, sometimes two if we have some plans. Or other weeks it is a load here and a load there until it's done.
