Pink and Moscato. Two of my favorite words in one FABULOUS bottle. But as with all my Wine reviews let me start by saying Beringer has NO clue I am writing this review nor do I think they will care. All opinions are my own.
I'm torn on this Pink Moscato. My first instinct is to call "MEH". Seriously. It was so light in flavor I barely tasted any thing. I tasted sweet and tart but nothing to write home about. BUT when I was eating a chocolate chip cookie with this Pink Moscato (cause I'm classy like that) the chocolate seemed to enhance the flavor of the wine. The addition of chocolate changed the flavor from slightly sweet to a raspberry flavor. I loved it!
So if you just want to drink wine this may not be the one to open up. But if you are looking for a great wine and chocolate pairing this may be it!

Try the Moscato with a caramel or dark chocolate topped cheesecake. I had it once like that at a party (but a different brand) and it was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a wine drinker, most have to strong of an "alcoholy" taste going on. I prefer my drinks to be fruity and tasty. I like Moscato so I have been really interested in trying a pink.. I think I will still have to give it a shot.
