So this is cool. Cold if we are being literal. The wine comes in these cute little single serve pouches. You stick them in the freezer. Once frozen you take them out and kneed them and then throw them in a glass. Nice, refreshing, a few of these and a good film and you have a fab night in.
I didn't really think of this as wine however. I mean I know the package says wine but that's not what I tasted. This was sweet. Almost too sweet for me (and that's difficult to do). It was a sugary frozen cocktail. And had almost a fruit punch flavor.
The texture of this was great. Frozen and slushy but not so thick you couldn't get it up the straw. It was refreshing but not too cold and was great to sip... Or drink. (Brain freeze!)
I liked it a lot and can't wait to buy more but I won't drink this when I am craving a glass of wine. This will be my tropical get away in glass! Me, frozen Arbor Mist and a movie might be my next Saturday.
What do you think? Would you try it? Have you tried it?
Arbor mist sounds very interesting, I would purchase for one of our summer parties
ReplyDeleteI love arbor mist! I like a bottle every now and then and this would have a special place in my freezer!
ReplyDeleteExcuse for wine in a straw? Woot! I've never been one for Arbor Mist (I'm a total wine snob), but I bet this twist would make it worth trying.
ReplyDeleteI love frozen wine! sometimes when I want to make it a little stronger I'll put an extra shot in there. it also cuts some of the sweetness :)
ReplyDeleteI love Arbor Mist but I have never seen this before. I think this is something that would be perfect for me because I love much sweeter wines. I'm also a big fan of blended drinks so this is great for that too. I'll have to look into it.
