Toy Fair Highlights day 2! And another brand that I am madly in love with. No really! I LOVE Boogie Board. They make the tech that makes my geeky life. Their LCD boards are made to be an eco friendly and super cute. Coming for the 2013 HoliDaze (That's too far away!) Boogie Board has 2 new boards coming at you!
First up is the Jot 4.5. This little beauty is like a post-it note killer! It's the perfect pocket size and great for taking quick notes. The Jot 4.5 comes with a built in way to attach the stylus. The Jot 4.5 is also stackable (because you will want more than one!) and it has thumbtack holes so you can pin it up in an office or kitchen (or wherever). I think these little guys will be PERFECT stocking stuffers for your eco concerned friends and family or the tech savvy in your life.
Now I hate to pick favorites but if Santa is listening I could use a Sync 9.7 under my tree this year (I know! The HoliDaze are so far away!) I already have the Boogie Board rip. With the rip you use a USB cable to download info from the Boogie Board to your computer. There are also ways to use the board and see it on your comp. The "problem" (problem in quotes because I still love it) is that you are tethered to your computer.
Well the great people at Boogie Board were listening! The Sync 9.7 takes out the cord problem. It has an on-board SD memory that can save thousands of pages. It is bluetooth enabled so it can work wirelessly with your computer. Basically if you read my Boogie Board rip review the Sync does all of that AND more WITHOUT a wire. Unlike the rip the Sync works with Mac. An insider told me that some of the software for the Sync will allow you to not only see what you are doing on your Sync in the comp, but on the comp (not the sync) it can be in color... Don't quote me on this.
Boogie Board never ceases to amaze me with the ideas they come up with. This is some of the most sophisticated tech I have even seen. It is fun and cute for kids (and me!) but advanced enough to go in your school or work bag. Boogie Boards make paper unnecessary and note taking fun. I'm thinking 2013 HoliDaze will see a lot of Boogie Boards on the wish lists.
Darn it, I really want one of these for the boys' homeschooling!
