You can get many more entries by leaving comments on any post written August 1st or later with #BlogHer12 in the title. If this seems confusing fret not! The title of the posts in question are in the rafflecopter. (I'd follow it closely if I were you. ;-)
"But, Dragyn, I already posted on some of these! Do I really have to post again?" Nope. All posts count. So if you posted ahead of time you are just ahead of the game! BUT you still have do the one mandatory entry so I know you want to be part of the giveaway.
The giveaway starts August 13, 2012 at midnight and ends August 21, 2012 at midnight (I'd enter by August 20 11:59pm). Us and Canada only (this package will be heavy and I'm paying the shipping!). Many will enter (I hope) ONE will win. Must be 21 or older (There will be alcohol related products I'm sure.)

During which part of BlogHer do you feel you learned the most that will help you in the future of your blogging?
ReplyDeletewhat is your favourite part about blogher
ReplyDeleteWas going to BlogHer as someone who doesn't use BLogHer ads awkward?
ReplyDeleteDo you find BlogHer overwhelming? (There seems like a ton to do, in such little time, and then all the partying to fit it in!) Also, is it worth the money / sponsorship you put in to have the access, and does it help you blogging and confidence?
ReplyDeleteignore me, saw that it is only US & Canada only :) Still wouldn't mind knowing what you think about my Q's
ReplyDeleteYay, swag! My kids cannot get enough tote bags and squeezie balls!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about starting to blog. is there any advice you can give or anything you learned at blogher that you might be able to pass on about creating a successful blog?
ReplyDeleteThe keynote speakers. They were so informative and inspirational.
ReplyDeleteWhat session or event did you not attend, but wish you did?
ReplyDeleteJenn, kissxmyxkitty@gmail.com, Jenn.nu
Not at all! I think very few of the bloggers there use BlogHer ads.
ReplyDeleteHTML doesn't have to be a four letter word. I love doing edits on my site and would've loved to learn more.
ReplyDeleteOnly want to one (Bad Dana) but I did love the session on adding comics to your site.
ReplyDeleteIs BlogHer for newbie bloggers too?
ReplyDeleteI'll do a giveaway for everyone very very soon so stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteVery overwhelming! But in a lot of ways the money was well spent because I made a lot of connections with other brands and bloggers. In fact some of the blogger friendships I've made I hope to have for life.
ReplyDeleteEvery moment was a learning experience but any chance I had to be more out going were the moments that will help most with the future of my blogging career.
ReplyDeleteI'm a newbie and I loved it! It was crazy overwhelming but I learned a lot just by hanging out with other bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know how BlogHer compares to SheCon or Bloggy Boot Camp. (The only blogger conferences I've attended.. so far!)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to any of those so I unfortunately don't have a frame a reference. I will say that at over 4,500 bloggers it's probably bigger than those.
ReplyDeleteAre you going next year in Chicago?!
ReplyDeleteSadly no. It's happening during the last week of my last year of graduate school. :-( But BlogHer 2014 won't know what hit it! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo.. how was BlogHer? ;) Haha. I've been reading different accounts about it and I'm on the fence if I'm glad or sad I didn't go. Would you recomend it to a first timer or would a different conference be a better starting point?
ReplyDeleteI don't need any more swag, thankyouverymuch, but I'm wondering whom did you enjoy meeting the most? I'm not fishing for a compliment, I'm genuinely interested :)
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite part of Blogher? What was your least favorite part?
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to BlogHer and I'm planning on attending next year's in Chicago...How do you go about finding a roommate? What would do next year that you did not do on this past conference?
ReplyDeleteWhat event/party/session was your favorite?
ReplyDeleteMeeting you was probably one of the biggest highlights for me from Blogher!! You are the sweetest person and truly a kindred spirit! :0)
ReplyDeleteHow many business cards did you get?
ReplyDeleteWhich outfit did you end up buying/wearing from the earlier post? and did you feel you fit in with the other bloggers?
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite session? I loved my geek bar session on blogger
ReplyDeleteSO, wasn't that blogger Krista from The NYC Talon amazing? Didn't you just love chillin' with her at your pre-blogher lunch? There. Those are my questions. ;-) Unlike Megan I'm totally fishin' :)
ReplyDeleteI wanna win!!!!
ReplyDeleteHonestly a smaller conference would be better for learning (or it would be for me). BlogHer is a bit like being thrown in to a pool. Sink or swim. But with that said you're not alone and it is a ton of fun!
ReplyDeleteDon't make me choose!!!! Anyone who actually took time to talk and spend time with me were the people I enjoyed most. You were so on this list! It was nice to have the familiar faces to turn to as I was doing stuff and feeling lost at BlogHer.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was the interaction with other bloggers. My least favorite part was the feeling I was being rushed.
ReplyDeleteI posted that I needed a roomie in one of the forums and it worked out. I'd say shop around for a roommate and find someone with similar interests. If I was going next year I'd go to more sessions and less private parties.
ReplyDeleteEvent: The Keynote lunches Party: Hasbro/Sparklecorn Session: Only went to one.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
ReplyDeleteAround 80 if not more.
ReplyDeleteDidn't use any of them. BUT wearing a cute dress or shirt/skirt combo and flip flops was more than enough. :-)
ReplyDeleteOnly went to one session. Sadly.
ReplyDeleteShe was totally awesome! When are we hanging out again?
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a question...
ReplyDeleteJust do it. The hardest part is starting. What BlogHer reinforced for me is that those who are successful are the people who don't give up.
ReplyDeleteI loved the pics from the Sparklecorn post! What was that, exactly? And how did it relate to the BlogHer conference?
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the official BlogHer parties. Just an excuse to have a blast after a long day of conferencing.
ReplyDeleteDid u like hanging out in my room?
ReplyDeleteOne of the highlights of BlogHer for me!
ReplyDeleteSo Dana, what did you hope to get out of Blogher12? Was it all you thought it would be? Were there things like "workshops" or sessions to sit in on and learn about others interests and blogs? How many new contacts and friends have you made? Did they announce where BlogHer13 would be held?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Suz (MapleMouseMama)
Can you recommend a similar experience for male bloggers?
ReplyDeleteWere the parties as fun as they looked?
ReplyDeleteYes! I had a blast at the 2 I went to.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the "her" in BlogHer fool you. There were dudes there and I think it was just a beneficial for them. However if you are concerned about chick overload there is blogworld which I have heard good thing about.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to get connections. BlogHer was way more overwhelming than I expected. Yes but I only went to one session. I have over 80 business cards but countless friendships/ BlogHer 13 is Chicago.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your biggest regret about BlogHer? (if any?)
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite connection with BlogHer? Did you prefer meeting the companies or other bloggers? I think you and i ran into eachother almost every day! :D (if i can remember, ill shoot you over some of the photos i have)
ReplyDeleteNo regrets but next time I'm at BlogHer I want to do more BlogHer stuff and less outside stuff.
ReplyDeleteFavorite connection would be all the great people who came to lunch. It's like I had my very own tribe! Bloggers were way better than brands because they are now friends.
ReplyDeleteSoon! :) Since you're so close by and all :)
