Tutto Gusto

This will be a very quick review because I'm writing it on my cell phone in the lobby of the Beach club. :-)

Tutto Gusto is a lovely cool retreat from a hot Epcot. Like La Cava or Le Cellier it's like a cave. Well in this case a wine cellar.

For lunch I had buffala mozzarella, rughetta e patate, tiramisu, Verdicchio wine and cappuccino.

The wine was light and crisp but not as sweet as I had hoped. If you are a dry wine drinker you might find it really sweet. If you, like me, like sweet wine, it will taste light and fresh but sour.

The buffala mozzarella makes my life! It had a beautiful soft a cool texture (yes I said the texture was cool!) it was covered in olive oil and served with focaccia. So yummy!

The pasta was dry to me but I love sauce. It was pasta curls with potatoes and pancetta with olive oil and arugula. Bacon and potatoes. Yes. The pasta was really think to me but that's just me.

On a side note the plates are small which is great if you want to try a bunch of stuff or you don't eat a ton.

Tiramisu was standard. Really good but I don't think I've ever had a tiramisu I didn't like so this wasn't special.

All in all I liked Tutto Gusto a lot. I will say that I felt a bit rushed but maybe that's just a sign of an attentive wait staff.

  1. I wish La Cava was a little bigger and had more of a menu like Tutto Gusto. I'm not a wine drinker, but I'd like to try a quick bite here as I do love Italian food!

  2. Same! I think it would be such a great idea for La Cave. Tutto Gusto is good but yeah you better like wine.

  3. I have never been to that restaurant, but would like to try it one day.

  4. I loved Tutto Italia when my family and I went there this past may!!

  5. This looks yummy! I had heard of this restaurant, but I've never been there before - thanks for the review and the pics! My hubby and I will have to try it on our next trip! :-)
