Have you entered the Lair?
My last Disney trip wasn't exactly a Disney trip. I just managed to squeeze in a couple days at Disney's Hollywood Studios chilling with my favorite actors and checking out the new Star Tours ride. That was awesome. The main focus for my trip was the Orlando International Fringe Festival, where all of Orlando's acting community gets to let loose and be themselves instead of the sanitized theme park roles that they've committed themselves to. You know what I mean. I got to see a former Disney actor really let loose in a two-man show with audience interaction.Sadly, as my credit card bill clearly stated, this would mark the end of my travels for good. Money is just not as prevalent as it used to be. I feel like the Disney Park Experience should just be delivered on my doorstep, and I don't mean the trip planning DVD. I want real characters visiting me, I want to be fully immersed in rides, I want everything the parks have to offer right in my own neighborhood. Make it happen, Disney!
A few weeks ago I went to WDW with my little brother... completely spontaneously! We both realized we had a few days off work together and joked about going down to Disney... and next thing we knew it was happening! It was crazy, but a lot of fun. We went to the Magic Kingdom one day and Hollywood Studios the other. It was surprisingly un-crowded for June as well. Very nice.
Hey you :) No new trips any time soon :( Hope you're doing well!!
